University of Colorado Board Votes to Fire Embattled Professor Ward Churchill

FoxNews BOULDER, Colo. — The University of Colorado’s governing board on Tuesday fired a professor whose essay likening some Sept. 11 victims to a Nazi leader provoked national outrage and led to an investigation of research misconduct.

Ward Churchill, who had vowed to sue if the Board of Regents took action against him, said immediately after the 8-1 vote was announced: “New game, new game.”

Three faculty committees had accused Churchill of plagiarism, falsification and other misconduct. The research allegations stem from some of Churchill’s other writings, although the investigation began after the controversy over his Sept. 11 essay.

“The decision was really pretty basic,” said university President Hank Brown, adding that the school had little choice but to fire Churchill to protect the integrity of the university’s research.

“The individual did not express regret, did not apologize, did not indicate a willingness to refrain from this type of falsification in the future,” Brown said.

Child executions violate international law

Article 37(a) of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

According to the United Nations, a child is a person under the age of 18. Despite the fact that the government of Iran has signed International Covenants that forbid them to execute anyone who has allegedly committed an offence before the age of 18, they continue to do so. Amnesty International has documented 21 executions of child offenders in Iran since 1990. In many cases, these minors have been imprisoned until the age of 18 and then executed. Currently, there are at least 32 minors on death row in Iran. StopChildExecutions.com [google -326154263842459700 Child Executions / Child Rights]

Iran is the only country in the world that ‘officially’ executes children. According to the United Nations, a child is a person under the age of 18. Despite the fact that Iran has signed International Covenants that forbid them to execute anyone who has allegedly committed an offence before the age of 18, they continue to do so. Since 2005, Amnesty International has recorded 21 executions of child offenders and over the last couple of years the rate is increasing. Currently, there are over 23 minors on death row in Iran. Time is of the essence. Together we will make them STOP the execution of minors!

Tax from illegals remains in states

Missouri and Kansas accept the money but do not issue refunds to filers of returns.

Memo to illegal immigrants working under false Social Security numbers: The Internal Revenue Service wants your tax money.

So do the Missouri and the Kansas revenue departments.

But if you overpaid through withholdings over the year, don’t expect a refund from Missouri or Kansas.

Only the feds will send you a refund check.

The states accept tax withholdings from those same immigrants during the year. They also cash checks the immigrants send for underpayments.

But refunds?

Nope.

Texas Town Bans Illegal Alien Rentals

Voters in the Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch became the first in the nation Saturday to prohibit landlords from renting to most illegal immigrants.

The ban was approved by a vote of 68 percent to 32 percent in final, unofficial returns.

The balloting marked the first public vote on a local government measure to crack down on illegal immigration.

“It says especially to Congress that we’re tired of the out-of-control illegal immigration problem. That if Congress doesn’t do something about it, cities will,” said Tim O’Hare, a City Council member who was the ordinance’s lead proponent.

Never fear loyal TIN fans. There will be further postings here. And the leftards and all their socialist types.. they have yet to feel reality’s gravity.

There are Fred Heads Amongst Us…

Some interesting polls over at CFP show Thompson as our guy. Now Im not one who leans on poll work with all my money. But it does show an interesting possiablity with F. Thompson as the better conservative for the job.

Have a looksy for your self. Based on what I know of him. He is well enough prepared to run things beyond compassionate conservatism. And this country fell victim to the “feelings” rather than the security that where needed.
